To date, 6,000 children living in the district have benefited from the part-time preschool education centers, established by the Buca Municipality to ensure that every child has access to preschool education. Mayor Erhan Kılıç, who made a statement about the centers that provide services for free, said: “Our only wish is that each of our children grows up in the best conditions.”
Part-time preschool education centers, established by Buca Municipality to create equal educational opportunities, have become a lifeline for low-income families. Through these centers, children aged 4 to 6 years have had free access to preschool education, while parents have had the opportunity to spend their time as they wish. Stating that children act with the awareness that they are our future, Buca Mayor Erhan Kılıç said, “Preschool education supports the child’s areas of development, allowing him to be more productive at adulthood, to reveal one’s existing potential, that is to say, to discover oneself.
It is very valuable for us to be with the children in this very important time for them and to prepare them for the future. “Our only wish is that each of our children grows up in the best conditions,” he said.
