In 2023, many young people received what is called Young Rental Bonusassistance intended to pay the rent of young people who had between 18 and 35 years old and who prove that the income from their annual work did not exceed 24,318 euros per year.
These same requirements remain in force in 2024, the year of the return of the Young Rental Bonus. If you want to know when and how to apply for one so that you don’t end up without one, pay attention to all the details.
Conditions for applying for the 2024 Young Rental Bonus
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Do not receive employment income greater than 24,318 euros per year (triple the IPREM).
- Accommodation must cost a maximum of 600 euros per month (in some municipalities, the minimum is 900 euros per month). If it is a room, the ceiling is 300 euros per month (or 450 euros per month in certain regions).
- The aid must cover up to 40% of the difference between the cost of the rental and the rental subsidy, provided that it does not exceed 75% of the rental price.
How to apply for the 2024 Young Rental Bonus
It’s as simple as going to Offices of the Housing Department of each autonomous community, the deadlines are therefore determined by the autonomous government in question.
